Hi Fantasy Football Fans,

This website doesn't have many bells or whistles but it will supply you with an interesting new approach to drafting your Fantasy Football team. My 22 years experience of playing Fantasy Football has allowed me to fine tune my system and now I present it to you in a unique cheat sheet/spreadsheet type format I call draftsheets.

If you go to the example page you will be able to see what it will look like and how my draftsheets can help you win your draft. Use May's 2009 draftsheets free of charge, so go take a look. For each of the 6 positions (QB/RB/WR/TE/K/DEF) the players are listed under the rounds (1-18) they should be selected. Also for no extra charge you will get a second set of draftsheets by round, where the positions and which player should be selected in that round.

As players rise and fall on their team's depth chart, injuries, trades, FA transactions and my own input, I will adjust my draft sheets accordingly. I will use other websites, magazines also to gather information to help make these adjustments to the draft sheets to keep them as up to date as possible.

The key to having a successful Fantasy Football season is to get off to a good start, you need to draft well, get maximum value for your picks. You still need to do your homework and make smart trades and FA moves as the season progresses but the draft is where it all begins. By using either the position by position or round by round draftsheets as a guide, you can get your team off on the right track and be in great position to make those in season transactions.

So why is my draft sheets system better than the others you see on the internet or in magazines? All those lists are using a top down approach, where is the separation between players? Does the 8th WR get drafted in the 3rd round and the 9th WR get drafted in the 4th round, they don't tell you but my draftsheets does. It's using a left to right top down approach that's easy on the eyes to read. This approach gives you a better cross reference viewpoint, when to draft a RB versus a WR or drafting another RB etc.... The key to a good draft is to make each pick a quality pick regardless of what position they play.

My draft sheets will help ease some of the choices in deciding how much of a talent gap there is between players at the same position or players at different positions. Again most importantly is to get maximum value when drafting. The draftsheets contain (for each position) 18 columns, 9 rounds per page, listing the players that should be drafted by that rounds end.

There are many different type leagues and each league uses different scoring systems, I researched many leagues to come up with the most common number of rounds in a draft, how many starters used and how many in total are drafted at each position. If you go to the GUIDELINES page it will display the average numbers I used as guidelines to chart the players listed on the draftsheets. So if your league is different you still can use my draftsheets rankings as a positive tool, making alterations to suite your own league specifications.

If you go to the EXAMPLE-DESCRIPTION page I will further breakdown what each column means and give you a better understanding on how to read my draftsheets. The example listed on the bottum of the page was done on 4/5/09, since then many changes have occurred. My May draftsheets are available to you for FREE, all 6 positions, this will give you a good idea how my draftsheets will help you come draft time.
